I'm still jealous!! Would love to be back in NI right now, even with the rain. Watched it on the BBC online news. Horrific! The nice new underpass in Belfast wasn't looking to chipper.

I hope your move goes well. It will be so exciting to get into your own place and start life again. Have you sorted schools yet? Let me know how that goes/has gone. Was it easy? We have a place for daughter number one in Sept 09, but haven't filled in any forms yet.

HI, Our home is back on the market (after a 4 week break) with another agent....th last one was...well he has now retired and it was just a joke (only happens to me!!) anyway up with Ray White now and fingers crossed we will have a buyer soon. Our son is on his way home (gulp) he is flying out next Wed. he starts at college the begining of Sept and we all just sat down and had a long talk about out options...our son really just wants to be home, studying at college and getting on with his life...he will miss us I know and I have cried rivers over this but I know is for the best and that we will be together soon (fingers crossed) he is staying with my brother and his wife in Danebank, we are very close and I know he will be well looked after (gulp) and that change in our son is just wonderful.....he says he cannot wait for us all to be together again and is really greatful for "letting" him go, just a horrible situation to be in really.........never thought it would come to this but we will be together soon..
Yes City have not started off well....and you think "here we go again" but well what can you do about it....it adds spice to your life being a City fan!!! in the West Aus on Saturday they had a travel section and a part of it was on the IOM...very interesting....Oldest parliament etc...oldest horse drawn Tram etc.....a wealth of history and just on a small island......enjoy Stockport and you never know you may be sitting near our son at one of City's games!!!! (gulp) oh here I go again...where are the tissues!!!!

Aw Jackie, I understand how you must be feeling letting him go (how old is he?). It will just make the move even more enjoyable when it's all finally over. Is he attending Stockport college?

I am "biding my time" over my return....can't elaborate, but it's definitely there. I will be going through the same as you only my son won't want to come back to the UK with me, but it's early days yet, and when the reality finally hits home that I'm serious, then decisions might change. Good luck with the new Real Estate agent.....hope it gets the house sold for you SOON!!!

Hi Elaine, glad to hear that you are so happy to be back home, but sorry to hear about your little girl's health issue - I hope it's not going to be a life-long thing for her and that it will be just like it was with your son.
