My wife and I are thinking of moving back to the U.K after almost 20 years in Canada. Can anyone recommend a reliable tax advice company. to advise on the tax implications, and responsibilities prior to and after the move please? . I am not wealthy, and am petrified of making a disastrous decision. I have Canadian health service pension, will have CPP, and some Canadian OAS. I also have a small amount in an RRSP. Thanks in advance.

Tax implications for which country? Canada or the U.K.? Are you a Canadian and British citizen?
you might want to look at topping up your national insurance contributions to give yourself a higher UK state pension as well. It usually pays for itself within just a few months of you claiming it, so could be a worthwhile investment there are lots of threads on the forums about it if you want to do a search.

I believe that you need to be resident in Canada for at least 20 years in order to receive Old Age Security while living abroad. Just something to keep in mind. You can confirm this on the Government of Canada OAS eligibility section.

Definitely look urgently at making additional NI contributions soon if your aim is to move back ultimately and you can afford it. Rules are changing soon - at present you may well be eligible for the cheaper rate (about £160pa) but I think that’s being changed. It’s leaflet NI38 for info then complete CF83 asap to determine your eligibility.
OP, still not clear which country you're asking about tax obligations in. Are you asking about what you may be liable for in the UK? Or what you may be liable for in Canada before/after you leave? Nobody can really recommend a tax company until we have more info about what kind of advice you're after.
