Taking Car Back to uk
Hi all
I am new to this forum and wondered if anyone knows what the situation is with regard to taking a car back to UK from EU.
We moved to Cyprus 2 years ago and bought our UK car with us. We are now looking to return to the UK once we have sold our house here and want to take the car back. It has been re registered out here and now has Cyprus number plates and log book.

Cars have never been so cheap back in the UK - Are you sure this is a financially beneficial move? It will cost a fair whack to trasnport it back to the UK however you go about it.

The DVLA would be the ones that could tell you exactly how to do this. But with the thought that you bought it in the UK, you should be alright on the vehicle inspection and the tax. So it would just be the re-registering and the insurance of course.
