Spouse Visa and benefits
Hi there
I've been back in the UK for 4 years now with non British wife and 2 kiddies - we are going down the 10 year route for her to stay here.
I am temporarily going through a period of lower earnings which will probably last 6 months - does anyone know if I can apply for state benefits - working tax credit , child tax credit without impacting her visa application?
I haven't applied for benefits purely because of this - but it would make things easier if I could!
Help would be appreciated!!

YOU applying for benefits won't affect your wife's visa status
