Nothing in Nottingham?! It's got an Ikea! That's got to be worth moving there for; you'll be able to furnish your whole house from one shop (chuck out the chintz). Not forgetting stuffing yourself silly with Dime bars. Congratulations on your house sale!

Hello there,
It also has a half-decent university, and it was the home of Robin Hood

Congratulations!
But one thing I can't understand is, why are you so excited to go back to England????
Did it not work out in Oz?

England sounds way more exciting than Perth, from what I've read
Seruioulsy, good luck in Perth, but England is great too (sometimes takes a while living away to realise that it wasn't all bad.)

Congrats Janey,
I'm also out of Connecticut on May 10th heading back to Cheltenham. Job is waiting & flat rented. Just wish the bloody exchange rate was better :scared:

Congrats!
I love Nottingham, I'm from that general area anyway. The place seems to have gotten a bad rep lately in the UK papers, being the gun capital of the UK and all!
Most of that is no doubt unfair, just the media making wavs as usual. All the best!
