This came across my facebook today for anyone who might be interested:
Migrants Rights Network
Passing along a request we received from BBC today - please contact Rachel directly if you would like to participate.
"The BBC is making a one hour documentary with the reporter Nick Robinson on the politics of immigration. The documentary will examine the causes and effects of the rise in immigration over the past 10 years or so, the political consequences, and current policies to reduce migration. As part of this we would like to explore the effects of the changes to the family migration rules on families in the UK. We would like to speak to people from ethnic minority communities – particularly Pakistani, Indian or Bangladeshi communities – who are facing difficulties as a result of the new rules. We would also like to speak to people from these communities who have managed to pass the threshold of earnings and as a result are planning a wedding in the UK. Please contact me to find out more, any initial conversation will be totally confidential. [email protected], 0203 614 1268, 0790 360 4207."

I just sent this Rachel person a long-ish email. We don't fit the criteria AT ALL of the people they are looking to interview. But I thought I would give the Expat issue a shot. What the heck.
