I have searched old posts for an idea of who to have ship goods (mostly boxes/personal items) from San Diego to central Scotland. We were thinking we needed a 20 foot shipping container. It is so hard to get a general idea of the cost for this size of container. Any help would be appreciated:

Good moving companies ?
Average cost ?
Things to avoid shipping ?
Any other suggestions. ?
