Hello, After many years of wanting to go home, I'm at long last going. I don't have much stuff to ship, just some books, some antique china and other miscellaneous bits and bobs. I contacted U Pak We Ship and they've quoted me $895 door to door for 50 cubic feet. Is that a good price or can anyone recommend another company? I'm leaving from Florida to the Midlands by the way. I'm wondering if it might be cheaper for me to send the few china items I want to keep via USPS. Almost $900 seems an awful lot of money for such a small amount of stuff.

This is exactly the same service I used. I thought the price was very reasonable. It costs a fortune through the pits office and other couriers to send things.

UPakweShip will also pick up two or three boxes from you but the price if I remember correctly is around 125 dollars per box. For the 900 dollar option I was able to ship 25 boxes. Actually it could have been 27 but I was short by two. The box size recommended is 12x12x16.
