Has anyone shipped their stuff from Canada or in the process of doing so ? Can anoyone recommend a reputable shipping company ?

Depends on where in Canada you are moving from, but when I saw the title of the post I couldn't help but look. Thought you meant shipping to Oz. Anyway, we tried Baytor overseas movers in Mississauga, Ontario. They were very reasonable for shipping to Australia and have a very good track record with the BBB. Don't know if they are nationwide, but try them out.

Years ago I used a company called Movers International to move my things to France. They are based in Mississauga. I didn't have any problems with them. I believe my goods arrived via Felixstowe.

I've used a company called AMJ Cambell International. Apparently they are one of the biggest movers in Canada and I thought they'd be expensive, but they turned out to be the cheapest of 3 quotes. The guys arrived on time and were very friendly and helpful, but that was only 2 weeks ago so I can't yet say that everything has arrived ok (although I'm sure it will).

Try AMFreight International in Brampton. We used them last year. We did all the packing, loading and unloading. They just supplied the 40' container and the transport. Worked well for us.

Yes we are actually shipping to Oz from Canada (Toronto) have had a few quotes coming in around the same $ but their lack of customer service is impressive - will try these guys you mention thanks

Can recommend Tippet Richardson, somewhere just outside Toronto - we got our stuff shipped from the Uk to Red Lake with them. Excellent service, great guys unpacking at this end!
