I'd forgotten cash convertors. (like a modern day pawn shop). Might see where our nearest one is if we get desperate!

I might just take electronics to the pawn shop - stereo, Kitchen Aid food mixer, Cuisinart food processor, etc. I don't think I will get much for them if I do try to sell them myself, although the Kitchen Aid was expensive.

Do I sound as if I am leaving soon? Well, I don't know that I am but I need to get rid of all these things anyway so that when I can see my way clear to leaving, I can be GONE!

I have cookbooks, computer programming books, sewing books . . .
We gave loads of books away but also sold a few to http://www.betterworldbooks.com/ they will give you a quote and if you accept, they will email you a postage label to put on the box. They pay you via paypal.

I have sold a few books on the Amazon site, mostly ones i didn't buy myself and didn't interest me.
Wish I could part with more books but I can't. 6 bookcases full of them and more in boxes because we ran out of space. I'm ruthless when it comes to throwing stuff out EXCEPT my books. Oh well, they will help balance the container
