Default Redirecting Mail from abroad

We're going back to the UK in about 7 weeks. Has anyone used an international mail redirection service sending mail from Australia to England?

Yes we have. It is quite simple, fill a form in at the post office, pay the fee which is quite expensive (250 dollars for 6 months or 5 or 6 hundred dollars for 12 months).
We opted for 6 months and my mail comes to me here in the UK.

But they won't send parcels, anything that needs a signature, or anything that requires a customs declaration!

Thanks for those posts. Only problem is we won't know our address until we get there but we're trying to buy a house before we arrive so if that goes through, it will all be fine.

why dont you get your mail redirected to your son and he can send it on for (1st 3 months). open a po box at a post office in the area you are thinking of living? (dont know if thats possible or not).you can then inform aust peeps ie bank etc what the new address is.if its for payment of final utility bills leave enough cash with son to make final payments on your behalf or what about sending an email to utility companies and ask for final bill to be paid online if you dont already do this.just trying to save you some pennies
