Default Is this a record for Ping Ponging?

I often read the posts on here but have rarely posted - and never before started a thread. But I'm wondering who can beat our record for pinging and ponging! My OH came here to Australia as a 10 pound pom back in the 60's. I met him in the UK when he was on a basing with his job in 1983 - came out to Sydney and got married out here. In 1984 I was so homesick that we decided to move back to the UK. Just two years later I realised how much I missed Australia, so sold up and back we came - this time to Perth. Never really liked Perth - too isolated, but managed to stay for two years before - yes - you've guessed it. The grass was greener in England and so back we went. This time we stayed in England for three years before getting itchy feet and headed back to Perth of all places (will I never learn) - although to a different suburb. While there, we went on holiday to Tasmania and fell in love with it. The Launceston area reminded me of England and so we upped sticks and moved there and I was quite content until that old familiar pull of home drew me back once again! This time I vowed that we were really home to stay - but after two years of quite acceptable weather and then three years of miserable wet summers, we decided we wanted the good weather again - so back we came yet again. This time we me moved to the Mornington Peninsula - and we have been here now for 10 years - a record for me! We are now retired and at long, long last I am feeling quite content. However, I still feel the pull of 'home' but I do think that now I'm here to stay. Unfortunately OH's health is not so good and long distance travel is not the option it once was. I wish we could afford to live say 7 months here and the other five in England and travel business class each way,but having spent so much money in pinging and ponging in earlier years that too is not an option. I'm sure that there will be people out there that think we were mad to up sticks each time, but we were always prepared for an adventure. However, age does eventually catch up and we do like to feel the sun on our old bones. Anyone else out there who have pinged and ponged more than us? Oh - and before anyone asks, yes I do have a lovely, long suffering husband who has said he would follow me anywhere. Ain't that just lovely.

No kids by the sound of it. Still, a record that will take some beating

Yes, I pity the poor man. Bet he doesnt know whether hes Arthur or Martha. Our family did the trip 7 times but my Mum has done the trip 9 times. Emigration can give a person too many options and thats the curse of it.
