so as im moving back to the uk i will obviously no longer have a usa address..
How do i go about having my mail forwared to a uk address? is this possible....obviously for taxes, medical bills, etc(daughter was recently in hospital, so im sure bills will be slow in arriving and take a few months)
I did a search through the forum and couldnt find anything related to this.
Thanks in advance.

Last time we moved we filled out the standard "mail forwarding" form at the post office. It took some figuring out to get the UK address to fit in the US form but it all worked a dream. Got mail forwarded to the UK no problem and even better NO CHARGE!!!! They forward for a year.

Is this something i can pick up from a post office? Or does it need to be from a particular moving company ?
Thanks
Thanks

No, not from a moving company. I always get mine from the USPS mail carrier. Go to the Post Office and request the form that is in the pack and not the one that is a single form. This topic has been discussed on the forum previously so it should be searchable.

Summer 2013 I went into the local PO and did a change of address form as recommended on here, they forwarded my mail for a year. I did it about three weeks before moving so I could see if anything came for us at the old address. I could see thing like the electric and gas online to pay final bills.

Yes make sure you get the one that comes in a pack. I did mine in 2012.
