Question Question on ILR, need info please

Hi,

I know my question is off the subject but i need info regarding my husband's ILR. I hope someone here can give me the information i need.

I have been in UK for more than 4 years, last year i got my residence visa. 2 years ago i got married and we now have a 7 month old baby. My husband's now having an affair with someone else.. who's not living in UK. My husband just got his residence visa thru me when i sponsored him to come to UK after our wedding. My question is if there is a way i could strip him off his residence visa? If yes, can someone please give me information on how i can do this?

Many thanks!!! I hope someone can help me..

lilbabe,
i suspect that you cannot do a thing about getting completely rid of him. i suspect that if anything you may be financially responsible for him.
whole thing must be terrible for u .
i am sure someone will have a definitive answer

I am sorry you are going through this. I can't offer advise on the UK. Wish you were in the States, it would be great to picture him in an immigration detention center on his way back to wherever he came from and never being allowed to set foot here, ever again.

Hope you get sorted out

He probably got a temporary spouse visa, not Indefinite Leave - in that case, if you are really separated or divorced you should notify the Home Office.

You don't say what country he is from, but as regards your child you may need to be very careful not to go to his country as the child might not be able to leave again if he objected.

And regarding your child - has he or she got a British passport?
