Default Posting boxes back to UK

Hi everyone,

I've been looking at my 'stuff' and know that I will not be taking any big items back to Scotland when I move back. Therefore, it is the post office and a handful of big boxes that will send my 'stuff' back home.

I read on these boards a while back that someone said that the US does not do surface mail anymore to the UK, but I can't find that thread................so, is this true

If it is true, does anyone have any suggestions about mailing a handful of boxed up stuff (largish boxes) to the UK with the Post Office, or any other company that would not cost a fortune

I won't be thinking of using a container, or partial container as I won't have that much. Any advice would be appreciated
