Question pensioner returning to UK

Hallo everyone out there.

Can anyone help me? My sister has lived in the Algarve for 7 years now, she has just turned 70 last year, and having lost her partner feels lost. Shes been thinking of returning to the UK but how. She has no property and no furniture of her own. I dont know what the situation is in the UK as I have lived in Germany for 28 years so I dont know what advice to give her!

Can anyone give me advise or a website etc?

Hi,
Age Concern in the UK are usually a good place to start for anyone over pensionable age, they provide guidance and support with finding housing and access to benefits.

SAGA might also be worth a look.
