The first year John was in England I was all excited telling him about pancake day and he goes "You are kidding, right? Surely the Brits don't have such thing as a pancake day"
.. Now he gets even more excited about it than I do!

4 oz plain flour (all purpose in the US)
2 large eggs
pinch salt
10 floz milk/water (7 floz milk, 3 floz water)
1 tbsp melted butter or veg oil.
Mix all up! Just make sure your frying pan is hot to start with so they don't stick. Just put in enough to coat the bottom.
Now have more cravings

I prefer lemon and sugar on mine but hubby thinks it is strange having lemon on he just likes sugar

The thin ones that they used to sell on the street in Germany were crepes and on those they put Grand Marnier. Woo Hoo!
