I am a bit weird though  is that ok?
As much as I would love to jump on the next plane out of here, we have a few things to sort first. Putting in our application for citizenship today so we will wait for that, mainly for my daughters benefit. Husband has a franchise to sell, house to sell. Oh and just small things like finding a job and somewhere to live. All pretty minor! Hoping to be gone by about May next year...seems such a long way away..... On the upside we'll get back to back summers (British weather willing!) We'll be leaving our 23 year old son behind and hoping my 15 year old daughter doesnt find the love of her life between now and then. She will hopefully start sixth form in September back home. There is so much to sort out, sometimes feels like it's all too much effort. I hope you guys who are getting home sooner will post updates on the trials and tribulatons of being back, it's what keeps me going. |

I believe that once the house is sold, that will be my, 'no going back' moment. It'll be a while before it goes on the market. |

Re: NZ-UK
Auto trader had a ten dollar deal on where you could list your car for ten dollars. I haven't investigated what it entails as we'll have our car for a few years yet.
However, it has dawned on me to sell the car and just hire a rental car for the last couple of weeks that we are here. Best laid plans............:fingerscrossed: |

:D let us know how you sold your car. This is worrying me as if it doesn't sell what will we do? We have no one to sell it for us!
Say in your advert that it can't be released to the new owner until 1 week before you fly... Then as SnapShot said...hire for one week....you will also have you transport to take you to the airport.....YAY....another problem solved!!!! :fingerscrossed: |
