Yup, get rid of the dreaded HFCS and Hershey's is almost palatable. That's why I hate Hershey's. Far too sweet and no taste. I hope the Cadbury's receipe will be adopted by Hershey here. Given the typical American habit of everything needing to be artificially sweetened though (when it doesn't need it)....pigs might fly!

Now that is interesting! I guess when the contract runs out with Hershey, Kraft/Cadbury will take it away from them. (Trouble is, Hershey now had the recipe).

Question Re: Noooooo don't do it.

I buy Tetley "British Blend" teabags here...

.....I wonder if that will be another company which may one day come under US ownership?

(They do like their coffee here though...)

We have been buying them since they came out in NYC, guess 5-6 years. $3for 80 & good flavor, all we need now is British water & milk. The Chairman of Twinnings Tea, was interviewed on TV, many years ago & said "The best place in the world to make a cup of tea was NYC, its to do with the hardness/softness of the water"

We are about 18-20 miles west of Manhatten and our tap water is extremely hard, it's horrible.

I use a Brita water jug to filter the water, no longer have a problem with my kettle scaling up! The water definitely tastes much better

NYC, never had to use, steam iron cleaner or filtered water, never had to use chemicals on shower heads, maybe occasional rinse. Brooklyn & most of Manhattan, have very drinkable soft tap water. Evidently, very good for tea, but hard water is better for your body, or so I have read.

Ps, see if I can do a search for the Chairman of Twinnings statement, probably pre internet, around 18 - 20 years ago, think channel 7 (NYC) good morning America, me thinks.

Milka is okay but I never really got over the disappointment as a kid when I first saw it in Europe and discovered the chocolate was brown and not purple.

For the first 8 years I bought Tetley's British Brand and was quite pleased with it...until I found King's sold PG Tips. IMO there is no comparison between the two brands...PG Tips wins every time.

BBC today. http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/8470622.stm

"Warren Buffett attacks Cadbury takeover "

I don't think it's because he likes the stuff though. (probably prefers chocolate)
