Then you have never been to heaven. You must try a "Cadbury Flake", a bar of Fruit & Nut, Dairy Milk Bar, World famous Creme Egg.

For older Brits, its the chocolate that we grew up on. Cadbury, soon to be Kraft & Rowntrees (KitKat) now Nestles. Its the brand's we knew, as more people went on vacation to Europe, so we came across other brands, but Cadbury remains in our hearts.

Nowt like Cadbury, though the Europeans would beg to differ. (Thats for another story)

Go to a British store buy Cadbury made in UK, if you buy it in a regular store, it will most likely be made in Canada.

Oh ffs. I've had British Cadbury's and it isn't that freaking fantastic. Yes, it's better than Hershey's but Hershey's tastes like ear wax. Give me Swiss or German chocolate any day.

Its not JUST about the Chocolate, its the the name, its a British institution, its a girl in tall grass, licking or sucking or eating a Cadbury Flake. Its our childhood memories, it being in bed, feeling sick & being given some Cadbury Chocolate to make you feel better.

"Its part of being British, Indian, African, Chinese, Jamaican, etcetetetc, its for the children & adults of many countries of the world. Go to China Town, all the stores sell Cadbury, not Hershey, not Euro Chocolate.

If Cadbury's was a car brand, I'd put it somewhere alongside Rover

PS: Hershey doesn't even qualify as chocolate, good or bad. It's like bringing a stalk of rhubarb to a drag race.

Oh, alright then I'm German :P
I'm only on this board because I can't stand the gibberish spoken on web forums for German and misc. ex-pats.

It's okay Frank. Since it's an American owned company now - I'm allowed to insult it.

Hmmmm..a Cadbury egg filled with Ferrero's Nutella. That sounds pretty good to me!

Seriously though, I hope Kraft leaves the recipes alone. Cadbury is by far and away better than Hershey's waxy crap.

Time to get your stash of real Cadbury's in before it becomes puke chocolate.
