Moving to England
Hello All,
I've been looking through this site for advice about moving to England, and I've got a few questions that I wasn't able to find the answers for.
I moved to Canada when I was 6 months old with my mother and father. Now at 28, I'm looking to move back and live with my grandmother.
My questions are regarding employment. As I do not have a National Insurance Number (or at least I don't believe I do), will I need to obtain one to be able to work? Am I eligible to obtain one? If I am not able to, am I able to still find employment?
I'll be moving to London.
Any advice would be much appreciated!

I think you can work before you get a NI number. But you do need it to get taxed properly and they are easy to obtain, no reason at all for you not to get one.

Yes, you can. You just get taxed at an emergency rate and its sorted out ater once the NI number comes through
