My wife and I have been together now for about 7 months and we both are very happy.
We are living in a nice apt near my work. We are how ever are both inclined to buy a
house and start a family with the low intererest rates and my job going very well.
She I both have concerns about missing notices from INS Memphis. I have read here
that some folks have run into to trouble by not getting paper work after moving even
when they filled out change of address forms.
Do any of the folks in this group have experince with this?
If we send the change of address form in a certified letter proving we sent it what
would be the worst case situtation "visa vi" not getting AOS interview appt notices
ect. Thanks Peace Out Happy New Year Duke

Yes. Plenty of people have had INS ignore change of addresses. Luckily the post
office is pretty good at forwarding mail - we got some Christmas cards forwarded from
our apartment we moved out of a year and a half ago.
After it's gone past the "promised time" (or past the AILA estimate if they never
gave you a timescale) > If we send the change of address form in a certified
letter proving

go in and see what's up with your application. My co-worker ended up getting the
interview letter done on the spot at Arlington (though that was after they had
screwed up the previous letters three times).
