Default moving back to UK

We are moving back to UK in October after 18 months in Toronto. Any cheap ideas of how to get back stuff back like bedding, crockery etc. Please only helpful comments, as had negative feedback earlier as asked question in wrong section.
Thanks for your help.

Don't worry we are much more friendly in this section
I'm sure some of the Canadian returnees will have some suggestions for shippers.

I still say good luck. Unfortunately I can't help as I live in New Zealand but I still like to see how other people get along returning to Britain no matter where from.

I'm getting a lot of that sort of think back in suitcases- bedding, pots and pans, some cutlery etc., just 3 big suitcases taken through the airport. We have to pay for extra baggage here but it's still cheaper then trying to ship boxes (particularly when I'm only taking smaller things).

Thanks for your help.
Try Air Transat Cargo direct. We haven't used them personally (DIY 20ft sole use container for us) but have a look at this thread from a while back on BE (think it was FlirtyKnickers who replied to Richards question):

Anyone got any experiences sending stuff this way. I think we have to pick up the goods at Gatwick. I was wondering about Insurance and Custom paperwork.

Cheers,

We used cargo to bring stuff over to Canada, they were fantastic, can't recommend it enough. They give you the paperwork, you fill in the sizes of your boxes, and they give you a price based on the weight of the items. It's all very easy. I think we paid $50 to collect it at Toronto airport, it was ready about 2 hours after our flight. No drama at all, good luck..
