It's true, parts of Sydney are just as expensive.And interest rates are higher (quite a bit - a good 1pc 2pc).

By coming to Australia, many of us get that kick start to move out of a bedsit/flat to owning a house.

Oh bugger....I hope it is still fashionable when my kids grow up and my tents are still in fashion!

UK...I worried about my kids being able to own a house of their own so I moved

Aus...I know they won't! Ah no worries they can move to the bush and camp. :D

same worries different country.

PS I bought a bigger house here so they have their own space (shit does that mean the little buggers don't move out?????)
