Can I ask what do you mean by the UK and USA SS hurdle. I have 10 years in the NI and over 30 in the SS system

I just meant that there was a minimum number of years (in fact quarters) to be eligible - i.e.a hurdle before eligible.
https://www.elderlawanswers.com/who-...benefits-12052

To be eligible for Social Security retirement benefits, a worker born after 1928 must have accumulated at least 40 quarters of work in "covered employment". A "quarter of coverage" generally means the three-month calendar quarter. In addition, you must earn at least $1,260 in a quarter (in 2016) for it to count.
Although Giantaxe indicates that UK NI record can fulfil this, which I was not aware.

For UK state pension:
https://www.gov.uk/new-state-pension/how-its-calculated

You’ll usually need at least 10 qualifying years on your National Insurance record to get any State Pension.

You’ll need 35 qualifying years to get the full new State Pension.

You’ll get a proportion of the new State Pension if you have between 10 and 35 qualifying years.

HI, first please know I am an animal lover and involved in many dog rescues. Just make sure your dog is allowed entry into UK as it has strict laws about what breeds of dogs are allowed. I read the list and yours doesn't appear on it but just make sure.. I am not indicating by any means your dog is mean I just want you to be safe in taking your dog with you.

i completely understand, as far as I’m aware it’s only pit bulls that you have to ‘go careful’ with at the moment, but I will confirm before going, thank you ☺️

all airlines are different in what they want and type of dog they will fly . Uk says they must arrive as cargo. If you fly on the same plane as him you can fly into one of the BIP airports if you are not flying with him then he has to fly into LHR .
it takes between 4-6 hours to process the animals through ARC so be prepared to wait
he is a big dog so may need a custom kennel built for the trip as they have to be able to stand turn around and lay down.
our dog was a cocker spaniel and he had to be in a large kennel to meet the needs.
there are many pet relocation services who can help if you don’t want to the tedious work there prices include the airfare but not the vet costs or kennel costs
average cost depends on size of dog
for a cocker size dog your looking at $3-4000
if you do it yourself maybe $1500 to $2000

thank you, this information helps a lot. I will definitely be calling the airlines and seeing what the restrictions are
