Default Moving back. Do I take the car?

Hi
Has anyone taken their car back recently? Is it a difficult process. Mine is a Vauxhall Zafira, but it only has Km/h on the speedo. It a Japanese import into NZ. Any tips?
Cheers Rob

I wouldn't have thought it practical, there are thousands of Zafira's here on the market and good value for money...why bring another that you would have difficulty selling on ?

Plus you have all the cost involved in the transport , just for a basic car, I mean its not a collectors car .
No disrespect I have a Zafira myself

Where are you Rob?
I doubt it would be worth it, there is a ton of paperwork involved as well as the cost of transport + inspections, modifications etc, you will be without a car for about 12 weeks.
Better things to concentrate on when moving back like jobs, houses etc.
Plus cars are so cheap in the UK, for the cost of selling my car here in Aus I can buy the same 2006 model there + one for my OH.

Cars are really cheap here in the UK at the moment I really wouldn't put yourself through the hassle & inconvenience of bringing one all the way over. There are great deals to be had on both new & used cars - no-one is buying so it is really a buyer's market.

we have a late 2000 zafira with low miles over in the uk, and it will sell for about £3500!

in australia the same car would sell for around $15,000, so i definately wouldn't bother bringing it back!

do you want to buy ours before we leave the uk???
