Is the Greenall's brewery still there? Probably not. Good thing too - always gave me a hangover. I think Greenall's was originally based in St. Helens IIRC.

Not really - depends how you read it. Your project seems pretty straightforward, as long as you lay your groundwork. To be prudent, you'll need enough money to live on for (say) six months.
