Waverly Sanatorium, Louisville, KY, USA. Thousands died there during the TB epidemic in the early to mid 1900s.

First of all, prove ghosts and hauntings are real. No, the silly show with over excitable frat boys on SyFy doesn't count.

In defense of the OP, he didn't ask about the most haunted place you ever visited... but the most haunting. There's a difference.

Ah... never mind! The silly git wrote "haunted" in the thread title. Y'see... that's what I get for trying to be nice!

We used to live just down the hill from this rectory. Ghost hunters would knock on our door asking for directions all the time

I went to Borley Rectory or rather the remains of it in Suffolk. Some occultists describe the site as one of the "Seven gateways to Hell." I stole the sign from it and buried it at a mates house to see if the gateway would move to his yard. I am not sure if it worked or not.

Did you knock on my door in a drunken haze at midnight looking for the Rectory???

My kids were baptised in the church across from the old Rectory. It is actually a very nice small village, we enjoyed living there.

Well at least you know that the people who bought your house also had to endure ghost hunting drunkards.

We stayed in the top right picture for a week.

http://www.isleofwightaccommodation.com/appuldurcombe/

Didn't know it was haunted until AFTER I had an "experience" there, found a book on it in the Visitor's Center.
