Mortgage lender for spouse visa holder with British wife
Hello All,
We've just had a rather tough time trying to get a mortgage. My Canadian husband and I moved back to the UK in September 2013. We are advised to wait till next April when we'll have two years' tax returns. Does anyone have any suggestions for lenders that won't mind his spousal settlement visa with less than a year till expiry? Funds as such aren't a problem, it's all that box-ticking...

I don't have a suggestion for a lender but maybe waiting until your husband renews his visa may satisfy the lenders.
