So have mine, barely able to sit upright at the table , elbows splayed everywhere. I would rather eat with the dog. I persevere however.
It's like Jumping Doris's school of Etiquette at every meal.

At least they use a fork , quite common here to grab the food with your hands and shove it in a piece of bread.

The eating with the mouth open thing. I hate it. I may be generalising but it seems a popular passtime with the Aussie kids and adults.

I refer to my post on school dinner canteens. Not having them here has a great deal to do with the lack of manners, IMO.

PS.Why is that Americans cut their food then swap their fork into the other hand to pick said food up?
