Never been to the Last Night, but did go to the penultimate night, performance that year was Beethoven's 9th, we brilliant, that night is treated as the consolation Last Night for people who failed to get tickets in the Ballot.

It was, and the music was awesome, you really don't get the atmosphere on the TV, hearing the performance live was so good. It was the BBC symphony orchestra and the chorus, and 4 soloists, can't remember their names though. Just being there for the build up to the start was so atmospheric.

All the anthems sung at the home rugby internationals. All four of them. Passion, pride. Brings a tear to the eye.
