Lowering income
Hi,
I just moved back to the UK and had to show the minimum income for my spouses settlement visa (£18,600). We moved back because of an ageing parent. I now see I will have to reduce work hours in order to care for parent with alzheimers (I will care part time, so I can't get a carers allowance). When I do this my income will drop below the minimum, does that matter if we already are here and my husband has his visa, I don't want to risk putting it in any jeapordy as he will have to renew it in three years.

Re: Lowering income
Your wage reduction is of no relevance as your husband's visa has already been issued.
However when you come to apply for the next visa you will have to show 18,600 GBP income per annum. At that point your husband's income can also be included.
