BBQ Snack-a-jacks

Also being a horse lover, I miss seeing horses in big open green fields instead of a small piece of brown earth and no grass to graze on....

We have to buy for 75 metres (material wise) worth of windows in our family area. To get custom made ones would be way too expensive. Been to Freedom...o.k style wise but crappy quality and not lined. Went to Spotlight...oh my God. Do they have grandmothers design their pitiful collection? Pathetic. So the money will stay in our bank account. Not paying a fortune for sh*t!

Rant over.

Going out with my mates from pub to pub getting totally pissed... eating a curry and STILL being able to get a taxi home at 2am in the morning!!! (I mean staying out for a night out!!!)

Spending 40 pounds in Primark and kitting me and the kids out for a whole summer/winter in quality clothing

Can't believe I am going to say this but clean laundry drying over the radiators. So cosy!
Choosing a hat for winter.
Looking up at a cloudy green tinged sky and knowing that there is a possibility it could snow.
Pretty flowers
Subtle humour on the television
Dappled light through pale green leaves in a wood.
Peaches and cream complexions
Diversity of accents
Cat lovers
Knowing that if you miss one train another is expected in less than ten minutes not in half an hour!
Fireplaces or even if there is not one, a mantlepiece being the focus of the room.
Another one I can't believe...having the washing machine in the kitchen...no dragging washing up and down stairs! It is most probably going to be hung up inside anyway.
Different coloured front doors
The way people will paint just their terrace's side of that pillar in between two sides of a front wall.
God forbid...the National Curriculum!! Never thought I would say that.
Yorkshire Puds being standard in a pub roast
Men considering me a friend and worth talking to and even laughing at my jokes
Antique auctions with items older than granny's furniture
Community spirit at Christmas and other times when people just seem to all be talking about the same thing good or bad.
Vibe of being a part of the world
And I can't think of anymore now...but there is more

Sausages in batter served up with greasy chips by a sulky 16 year old girl who can't work out the change.

Being able to argue with a cop without being shot.

The lake district

sarcasm being seen as funny
