I always find it hard to feel Christmassy when it's sunny so this year to help with my homesickness (which some of you have been kind enough to help me out with on another thread), I've thrown myself into doing Christmassy stuff here in the hope it will help. We went to see a Texas version of a panto, which although not as good as the British ones, it was funny nonetheles in it's own context. I'm off to do a house tour at the weekend where we'll be seeing really large houses and all the over the top Crimbo decs they do. They have carol singers etc so I'm hoping that will be nice too. Someone was talking to me about creating new memories, or triggers for Crimbo during the time I'm away from "home" so that's what I'm trying to do! Might not be quite the same as Christmas in Britain, but I'm trying!
