I used Icelandair from Halifax to Heathrow in Sept 2014. I made all the arrangments myself coordinating with their cargo people who were very helpful and my cat seemed to handle the trip really well. Is there anything specific you want to know?

Thats good to hear, they seem way more reasonable for passenger ticket prices than air canada etc, can you remember how much it was for your cat, I know its crate size specific but I have a cat too so should get a good idea, air canada is $750 for my cat, thanks

. I used James Cargo to handle things at Heathrow and paid them separately.

They receive the animals, get all the import paperwork done etc etc. They have a website if you want to take a look. There a few companies that do this but James seems to be the one that gets used the most and again they were easy to deal with.

Oh I didn't know that, I thought you could do it yourself, I did before, is it a requirement now or just easier?!....is it expensive, I'll go look but these companies never have prices online!
