Re: Huntingdon
I never thought I would want to move back to East Anglia, but I just re-read Arthur Ransome's East Anglia Swallows & Amazons books (Coot Club and Big Six set in the Norfolk Broads and two others..) and they've given me a hankering for Norwich, the Broads etc. I could see living in a place with good hiking and cycling. Unfortunately as you get older, up & down hill gets harder.

Lol...Sat in our Study now with the farm perched on the hill in the background, from the front window there is still snow on the peaks towards the snake pass....oh and its a clear blue day and we actually have a grouse that comes everyday for the bird food I put out...yes life in the Peak Districk is not so bad.

We had a pheasant chasing one of the chickens out the front of the house the other day. Took me (and the chicken) by surprise.
