Hi,
I'm returning to London after 22 months in Vancouver and I was wondering about the procedure at the airport.
Do I have to go to customs and declare whats in the container and provide a personal effects list as I did when landing in Canada?
Any direction would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Michelle

Hi Michelle,
are you talking about a shipping container sent by sea?
If so the contents packing list goes with the container and is inspected when it arrives without you being present. You do not have to declare the sea shipped container when you enter the UK. Just go through Passport and then Customs as normal.

You shouldn't have to declare anything if you don't have any prohibited items in your suitcase, I watch a lot of Pick Tv
