Default Getting close now...

Well the house sold on the weekend so probably looking like an October departure at this stage. Plenty to do between now and then... Hopefully the aussie dollar is still strong then and the UK housing market continues where it is for a while. And hopefully its another white Christmas!...

Thanks. A friend of mine suggested, based on a 50% auction clearance rate last weekend, ours was the only house to sell in Melbourne. Not sure that's entirely correct but we've certainly been a lot luckier than others I know here.

Will head for the Cotswolds to stay with the in laws for the first few months until we get settled - probably Surrey/Berkshire/Oxfordshire way longer term. Looking forward to driving round some snowy countryside, pub meals, fire, ale, you get the idea…

Good luck with your move. Hope the period coming up won't be as busy for you as it was for us.

Cotswolds my old stompig ground grew up there and went to Burford School

Before we emigrated to NZ I lived in Berkshire so like you looking at all those areas
