Probably the same things that are good about Oz. Eg friends, sense of belonging, interesting work, money, family etc etc.

Assuming you have them in your adopted country, of course, which many people find they dont.

Gosh you really are a happy bunny aren't you? You should have come out with us at the weekend. The Lake District was at it's glorious best - clear blue sunny skies, daffodils, spring lambs, birds singing, waterfalls, swans gliding on the lakes, the greenest of fields, magnificent hills, country pubs and lots of freindly people. Can't beat it

Something wrong with you if you needed 10 layers of clothing this weekend - it was around 17 degrees and still is - not bad for late March early April

Have to agree that it was ok yesterday but today is very cold. Took the kids to school this morning and was searching for gloves and hats in the playground, as the wind was bitter.

The point I was making is that yes, we do have some beautiful scenery and places to visit in the UK but generally the weather is not good enough to go out there and appreciate it.

Yes it was chilly early morning and late afternoon yesterday too. I just love getting out whatever the weather - we have so many lovely places here to appreciate. Better to wrap up and get out that sit watching TV all day like some of my family
