Probably the same things that are good about Oz. Eg friends, sense of belonging, interesting work, money,family etc etc.
Assuming you have them in your adopted country, of course, which many people find they dont.
loose any one of the above and it dont always seem so rosy

Gosh you really are a happy bunny aren't you? You should have come out with us at the weekend. The Lake District was at it's glorious best - clear blue sunny skies, daffodils, spring lambs, birds singing, waterfalls, swans gliding on the lakes, the greenest of fields, magnificent hills, country pubs and lots of freindly people. Can't beat it

Gosh you really are a happy bunny aren't you? You should have come out with us at the weekend. The Lake District was at it's glorious best - clear blue sunny skies, daffodils, spring lambs, birds singing, waterfalls, swans gliding on the lakes, the greenest of fields, magnificent hills, country pubs and lots of freindly people. Can't beat it 
P.s, can we have some piccies of the Lake District please??

Just like to add to that , its absolutely freezing!! Nice scenery but you need about 10 layers of clothing to appreciate it!

The point I was making is that yes, we do have some beautiful scenery and places to visit in the UK but generally the weather is not good enough to go out there and appreciate it.

Have to agree that it was ok yesterday but today is very cold. Took the kids to school this morning and was searching for gloves and hats in the playground, as the wind was bitter.
The point I was making is that yes, we do have some beautiful scenery and places to visit in the UK but generally the weather is not good enough to go out there and appreciate it.
