Re: Flights booked!

Just one "Golden Retriever size" dog.
He's actually a Golden Doodle but everyone thinks he's a regular Golden.

I figured the "money talks" thing and I guess a year in advance is do-able.

Thanks for the advice/experience.

I wouldn't even count such creatures as "dogs". :sneaky:

All the best for a smooth move with your pooches.

I did think that dog treats must be called biscuits in the US. When I read 'cookies' I was immediately thinking of the sweet human treats!

LondonSquirrel -well one of them does love bourbon biscuits!

Pulaski - Each to their own.

TexasPenguin - I think you'll be fine :) Also those dogs don't shed right? Definitely let them know that.

Well.....we hardly ever call them "the dogs". We call them "the girls"; "the puppies"; "puddlins"; "spuds" - pretty much everything but dog.

I know. We're a bit out there.

Not out there at all. We call our 3 rats the girls.

I call our two indoor male cats "the weasels". The outdoor cats (only one now after our youngest cat died relatively unexpectedly (he did have a known heart murmur) from heart failure) we call "the yard tigers", as they both have/had stripes and we got them to reduce the supply of snake food fauna around our home. :)

I once ended up confusing myself by calling one of our rats a 'cuteheart!' Now we sometimes call them that just for fun. ;)
