The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that it was funded by anti-environmental groups. Plants grown by an incredibly smart man (scientist!) and the only way to stop them is with brute force using cars and giant saws (monster trucks!).

I also loved Worzel Gummidge, the slightly creepy scarecrow who had a cheeky crush on Aunt Sally, a lovely lady scarecrow.
Grange Hill was banned in my house because my Mum said the kids were 'common as muck' lol! I would sneak off to watch it at friends houses though.

Trumpton, The Herbs, Ivor the Engine, Clangers ( I was sorely tempted to buy a CD of original Clangers music which I saw in a Brighton store this summer :lol:) Pogles Wood, Vision On, Jackanory, Magpie, Ace of Wands, The Tomorrow People.
