That's the problem. I'm in my thrid year of a four year degree. I just feel like quitting it now and going back asap. But if I do that, I will have wasted 2.5 years of hard slogging studying.....it will all have been for nothing and it would've cost us $10k for the pleasure. It would be a lot different if I was just in my first year but I've put so much effort into this.
I am having a right battle within myself at the moment...head -v- heart.

What a brilliant opportunity for you both.
The studying is a hard one though you have spent a lot of time and money into doing this and to not finish well it would be such a waste. Could you not ask if you can finish the course in UK somehow? Rather than wasting it all. Its a tough call when you are so wanting to go back and these opportunities fly your way.
Good luck in your decision, you will make the right one for you.

I would have to get a transcript of the units I've completed; it's whether they would acknowledge them

If it's not fate than I'm not sure what it is! When I was looking into transferring my course to the UK (I was only studying part-time during my first semester), I found out that some unis won't charge you international rates, so long as you've been studying full-time while you've been out of the country. Might be worth asking them about? (Apologies if you knew all that already.) With the modular systems now operating, fingers crossed it's quick and easy to get recognition for your studies so far.

Oh Tracey that's fantastic news for you. It just seems that everything is pointing to your move sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed for you about the uni
