You probably won`t be able to answer this now:lol: But certainly agree we are heading to a 1 to 1 convergence and is now around 1.07 since yesterday. Wouldn`t be surprised if the UK wasn`t in the euro by 2010.

I would be amazed. There is rather more to Euro membership than "convergence", which really is kind of irrrelevant. And anyway, who's to say that the Euro won't be worth more than the £ soon?
