3 go mad in Adelaide

Well I have just replied to the thread about Nu-Shooz and got to thinking (dangerous at any time, but especially on a Saturday when I've had a drink!) There's a few of us been lurking around here for a while and going back this year. So who might be up for an Ex-Ex-Pats meet up somewhere in the UK later on in the year? Let's face it, on-one will have quite so far to travel as trying to meet up here!!!!

I'm thinking maybe a meal out somewhere central in England? And if we make a night of it, maybe booking into a Travelodge or something? Then we could eat and drink there too. just a thought, what do you reckon?

I'm in, and you are right, compared to driving to ADL nowhere is that far in the UK, esp say the Midlands.

That sounds like a good idea. I will be in the UK from the end of June, not sure for how long at this stage but would like to meet up with other ex pats from Australia and make some contacts. I will be based near Liverpool probably but meeting up in Central England makes sense.

I would definitely be in, but not exactly sure when I'll be back. Some time between July and Nov. So later in year would be good just to be on the safe side.

You can count us in....if it's anything like the Travelodge in York....with a great bar....well we will certainly be there.... well will be if our home completes okay (fingers etc crossed).....maybe later on in the year would be good just to be safe.....

Anyway, looks like this was one of my better ideas after all If I send you all my e-mail address, would you all e-mail me back so I have some way of staying in contact with you all? Once you've returned if you could let me know, then when we're all back (looks like it's gonna be Autumn before everyone is), we'll discuss a decent central(ish) location and get it booked

Yes all the nu-shooz family will be there lol...been waiting for a meet up of the ex expats. I will email you my hotmail address, share some photo's with you. My furniture is still on the ship, it arrives 21st March so just using my laptop at the mo which has no photo's on.

Wow! what a great reponse guys, thanks for all the pm's aswell, looks like this could turn into quite a party!!!!

Have been adding your e-mails to my address book, but please keep me posted as to when you head back and where to so I can get an idea of when to organise for and where.
