Like you say though, nice that you've been able to make an example of yourself !! |
Re: Do you panic sometimes too?
I think we only have to look at ourselves to answer whether going back is the right thing to do?....If we were all contented and happy with our lives and where we live, wouldn't even be discussing our return??:unsure:
We are going back to the UK early next year, I have wobbles and second guess myself all the time, questioning my motives, my reasoning etc. Didn't we all emigrate feeling full of hope for a better future?..and for whatever reason our dreams didn't materialise. Now we are wiser, we know the UK, we have reassessed our values and priorities, we want to go home but we don't want to be wrong again? Its a gut feeling of belonging, of things being right and making sense on a basic level. Its about, how many times have you felt in tune with people you know, how many times have you thought of being else where, how many times have you looked into the future and seen yourself in the place you are now in, how many times have you had a really good gut wrenching laugh??? If you are like me I spend more time thinking about how and when we are getting back than I do about what is happening on my doorstop, surely that tells me I'm in the wrong place. I know one thing for sure, I don't want to die here, I'm going home........ |

i can't help thinking its a choice - outdoor life, nice weather, beaches etc or family and friends... DH is happy to stay and i'm fine for now but in my heart I know England is my home.. we're going to re-evaluate after 2 yrs as DH wants residency first.. so i know WHEN we decide to come home - i will question myself - its human nature and perfectly normal.. deep down you know.. |
