Fake tan needs some refinement, tried several of the products mentioned and now have limbs in various shades of tan, peach, orange and a not so organic olive brown.
I'll save you the bother of the grocery posts shall i?

Morrisons yesterday..

3x 2ltre bottles of diet coke = £1.59 (yes that is for all 3)

3x tin of RED salmon (perfect for making fishcakes for the kids) = £2.99

packs of bacon £1 each! (just had a glorious bacon buttie with proper heinz tomato ketchup for brekkie!)

I'm off to Sainsburys this afternoon, would you like a report?

And I would like to remind this bay fellow, this thread is not the place for people with southern cross tatts on their left shoulder nor australian flag bumper stickers with a certain F word in them

Don't post things like this....you will attract 'rainman' in here

He will then demonstrate that things are half the price in Brisbane and that you get paid twice as much

Previously i would happily go wind them up, but i'm far too happy with my life these days to be bothered.

My grandkids are going to be sick of the site of salmon as nanna is making a huge batch of salmon fishcakes to ensure their omega 3 intake for the next few weeks

Oh no, you've upset BAY!

BAY can't cope with anything negative being said about Australia because Australia, BAY tells us, is wonderful in every conceivable way.

No, that can't be right!

There must be, must be damn it, some way to explain this erroneous piece of data which singularly fails to fit into the model that people know and love that Australia is always cheaper and better in every way.

Come on! Don't throw stuff like that out there!

Aaaah! The cognitive dissonance headache has begun!

Oorrr that's cruel...just come back from woolies, no that's a fib....it was about 2 hours ago...quickly did my shop...I do it in record time...well with soooo much choice...lol...I wish...anyway not long ago looked at the 3 small bags of basic items...and then did my double check (as I seem to be doing a lot these days)at the shopping receipt..hoping I was overcharged for something...but alas no.......record prices for basic tasting food, mind you our new local IGA has English chocolate and other food items....a real treat and the chocolate is cheaper than the Aussie choc's...and a LOT nicer...hence my ever thickening waistline...okay hope everyone has a great night/day..I am off to watch Man City...win I hope...

So you don't like most of the locals then..lol...Poms by the way are not the new migrants coming to live here in Aus...Poms are the convicts...and there are not any of those in my family....and suprise none in my OH's either..lol...honestly really glady you love it hear...and hopefully your not one of those migrants (if you are) who love eveything here but surround yourself with expats...etc, etc...one person I know loves life here...but has not one Australian Friend....still supports England in whatever sports....plays football at a good old age, with knees that kill him "what else would I do" and "it's my socal life".....are just some of the comments from him..oh here's a classic..."best holidays are overseas"...

I note from your location that you are being held against your will in a "shitty city". I hope you manage to escape and get somewhere nicer one day.
