Default On a countdown now!

Well, it's been a while coming, but the final decision has been made and we are on our way home.....

4 Suitcases leave on Monday via Container, so we have something to wear when we get home....
The rest of the stuff goes on 24th November.
We leave for a month of R&R, travelling around Asia, on 27th November and get back to the UK on 2nd Jan 2011

It's a bit of a mess familywise.... 18 yr old is staying (he's already moved out!) and our Eldest is probably coming here in the New Year to do his Masters at University (the fees are cheaper!), still who said anything was ever straight forward or easy!

Good luck....and try and enjoy your time around Aisa...we did a stopover and it really was great...took our minds off things and also we chilled after all the stress etc....you never know what life throws at you.....you just have to try and be the happiest you can be in a place you need to be....who knows what the future will bring....I am sure everything will work out for you....we all moved back here but who know what will happen when our children will grow up.....all the best...

Wow..what a great way to come back...travelling around Asia. A trip of a lifetime-

Your family don´t sound like a mess though - just a normal family and it´s great they are independent and capable to doing their own thing at 18.

Hope it works out well and keep us updated too !

Thanks for all you good wishes guys....
The removals peeps came and took 3 suitcases today so that we have Winter Clothes to wear before the rest of the stuff gets back!

Multiple flights were booked as well.... Our route looks like a dog's hind leg...

ADL-PER-SIN-BKK-ChaingMai on the train- HKT-LHR

All this because I haven't seen Perth and I have family in Singapore that I wanted to see on the way back too.

Just looking for a hotel in Phuket now.....

Try Agoda.com that is the company we always use for our stays in Asia....there prices tend to be quite a bit cheaper and all hotels have comments from past clients....good luck and enjoy yourself...
