Anyone else found it hard to get reasonable price car insurance? As we have been out of the country for 15 years, our NCD is not accepted here, so starting from scratch with no, no claims is expensive. We have been trying to ring Keith Michaels now for two days, just get engaged tone and never any reply back from them? Any other brokers we can try that offer at least a bit of discount for returning expats? Thanks

Thanks for that. I did bring our insurance policy with me in the suitcase which states the 60% no claims, also have the termination of the policy once we sold the car. Thanks, I will try them and see what price they quote. The others are all coming in at a price almost the value of the car! :P

** UPDATE ** Hubby finally got through to Keith Michaels, and we now have fully comp insurance which includes our 60% NCD carried over from OZ! Very good price too.
We should be given gold medals for dodging all the Roo's over there!
