CANADA TO UK

Will I get partial OAS, having lived in Canada for 19 years (not 20)?
If I move back to UK before 20 years residency.

Minimum is 10 years, as per the advice given on your previous thread - https://britishexpats.com/forum/cana...canada-948031/

From what I read it is 20 years if you live outside of Canada when you apply.

Not a clue I'm afraid, I haven't read any of the links, just went on what your previous thread said. But hopefully the info in there will give you the answer you need. If it is 20 years needed, then sounds like you're close so may as well hang on until you reach that point before moving if you can?

Good luck

I spoke to CRA about this and you must have 20 years in Canada if you are non-resident when you apply. The reciprocal agreement on pensions only applies to pensions you pay into.
