We`re looking to return to the UK at the end of October. I`ve already secured work, it`s just a case of wrapping up loose ends here first.
First can anyone recommend a cheap company that departs from Halifax, the cheaper the better. We`re not looking for luxury. It`s only a short flight and pretty much anything will do!
Also, we`re looking to take the cat too. We understand he needs to be microchipped, vaccinated and blood test. Then he`ll be quarantined for six months, or however long it has been since the tests were done.
Can anyone recommend the simplest and cheapest way of getting the cat over there. Some advice would also be appreciate on what happens when the pet arrives at the airport?
Thanks.

Zoom airlines and Canadian Affair both fly from Halifax to UK til the end of October. Not sure about flying pets home with them though as rules seems to change often.
We flew here in Jan 07 with Air Canada and took our cat with us as excess baggage. Cost us about approx 200 GBP if I remember correctly.

Thanks,
I looked at the zoom airlines site, looks as though their flights go on longer than Canadian Affair. I checked a couple of November dates and they had them available and pretty cheap too.
Just have to figure out the cat!!

Pets can only be transported to the UK on designated routes and airlines as specified by the UK Government. This website should answer most of your questions:
